Even though Yaccarino announced that Visa is X Money's first digital wallet partner, we shouldn't expect an official launch for a while. It's still unclear whether this will roll out in phases or be available internationally. Neither Visa nor X immediately responded to a request for comment.

Elon Musk's X has struck a deal with Visa to launch a Venmo-like digital wallet and peer-to-peer payment system for the app’s upcoming “X Money” service. As part of the deal, Visa Direct will allow X Money account holders to connect their debit cards to X,
