The UCLA Bruins have been doing a fantastic job in the month of June for many reasons when it comes to recruiting. They have landed many commitments this month, which has pushed them up the rankings ladder tremendously.

USC football is back at claiming victories on the recruiting trail. This time edging out rival UCLA for a talented four-star.

Four-star linebacker Talanoa Ili, No. 53 in the 2026 ESPN 300, has committed to USC over UCLA, he told ESPN on Sunday, the latest high-profile addition in the Trojans' class, as coach Lincoln Riley prepares for the program's second season in the Big Ten.

The teams last met in the opening round of the 2013 College World Series, when the Bruins posted a 2-1 win over the Tigers. UCLA also defeated LSU, 6-3, in the second round of the 2010 NCAA Los Angeles Regional.
