While using Apple’s automatic dictation feature to send messages on Tuesday, some iPhone users reported seeing a peculiar bug: the word “racist” temporarily appearing as “Trump,” before quickly correcting itself.

Users online documented how a dictation tool input “Trump” in place of “racist.” Other words such as “rampant” also trigger what Apple called a “bug.”

Apple's iPhone voice-to-text periodically flashes "Trump" when a user speaks the word "racist." Fox News Digital reached out to Apple about the flaw but did not hear back.

Apple boss Tim Cook has said his company may have to change its diversity practices as the US legal landscape shifts. His comments came just minutes after a majority of shareholders rejected a proposal calling on the tech giant to end its diversity policies, such as the use of race and sex in hiring decisions.

Apple's shareholders rejected the proposal after the company signaled its opposition to it on Jan. 13. Apple's board said such a proposal is "unnecessary."
