The incident led to the use of lethal force by members of the Sumner, Puyallup and Bonney Lake police departments at 8:34 p.m., the release said. The shooting occurred after multiple strategies, including negotiations and less than lethal tactics, were used, the release said. No officers were injured, the release said.
