Former President Jimmy Carter will be memorialized with a commemorative Forever stamp, issued by the United States Postal Service and released on Oct. 1.

The U.S. Postal Service has announced it will issue a commemorative Forever stamp honoring former President Jimmy Carter, who died Dec. 29, 2024, at the age of 100. The Postal Service plans to release the stamp for purchase on Oct.

Jimmy Carter, who served as the 39th president of the United States from 1977 to 1981, died on December 29, 2024, at age 100.
