Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love said he "can’t wait" to face off against former franchise legend Aaron Rodgers following Rodgers’ move to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Green Bay traded Rodgers to the New York Jets in 2023. After spending two seasons in New York, Rodgers signed a one-year deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Friday. He will face his former team in Week 8 when the Steelers host the Packers on Sunday Night Football.

When Rodgers took over for Brett Favre in Green Bay and Favre went to Minnesota, it took a few years for the two to meet against each other. Then they played in October in 2009. Favre defeated Rodgers, 30-23. Rodgers ultimately got the last say, winning a Super Bowl in Green Bay two years later.
