Hozier closed the 'SNL' season performing "Too Sweet" and The Pogues' "Fairytale of New York" on the Martin Short-hosted episode (Dec. 21).

Hozier starred as the musical guest for one of the final shows of the year on Saturday Night Live. Returning to SNL after a decade, Hozier treated viewers to a performance of his number one single, "Too Sweet", as well as a special festive number, "Fairytale Of New York", by the Pogues and Kirsty MacColl.

Hozier performed on "SNL's" Christmas edition, and for his second song, the Irish artist paid tribute to the Pogues' classic "Fairytale of New York."

The Irish musician also performed one of former President Barack Obama’s favorite songs, “Too Sweet,” in his return to the NBC program
