“Last Thursday, ICE entered our city, and provoked the city, by chasing people through Home Depots and car washes and showing up at schools. And today, showing up at emergency rooms and homeless shelters,” Bass said at the Thursday press conference.

The alleged incident at Hope the Mission aligns with a comment from L.A. Mayor Karen Bass, who said federal agents were seen at to homeless shelters and emergency rooms Thursday.

Bass said the raids are the "cause of the problems" across the area and that the problems have been "provoked by the White House."
