Here's a look at Green Bay's past foray into alternate uniforms, what inspired the look and perhaps some judgment on how successful the look was.

The uniforms were re-created from black-and-white photographs and with the help of articles written at the time in the Green Bay Press-Gazette, which said in September 1923: "The Bay eleven resplendent in their new jerseys, dark blue with gold striped arms, making an imposing appearance."

The Green Bay Packers practiced for a second consecutive day on Thursday after opening training camp with a short practice on Wednesday. Matt LaFleur's team is slowly gearing up, but pads weren't on and much is still to be learned. After the offense won a few team periods to open camp, the defense responded in full on Thursday.
