Chris Wright, a self-described ‘climate realist’, says Trump administration will be more ‘scientific’ on energy, climate change

To applause from oil and gas executives, Chris Wright said natural gas was preferable to renewable energy and climate change was a “side effect of building the modern world.”

"The Trump administration will end the Biden administration's irrational, quasi-religious policies," Wright said at the CERAWeek by S&P Global energy conference.

He promises executives the administration will end Biden's "irrational, quasi-religious policies on climate change."

Speaking at CERAWeek, President Donald Trump's secretary of Energy touted gas and singled out wind for being too costly.
