EA published their revised projected revenues for 2025 following Dragon Age's failure to meet expectations, causing the EA stock to plummet.

As of writing, shares of EA are trading for $115.80. Ahead of the announcement, the stock was changing hands at $142.35.

A new game, particularly one ten years in the making after a GOTY-winning sequel, underperforming by a full 50% is dire. The publisher points to two main causes for lower than expected revenue: Dragon Age: The Veilguard missed its sales projections by 50% despite reaching 1.5 million players. However, a bigger cause for concern lies with the underperformance of EA Sports FC 2025.
