Paul George scored 30 points, Tyrese Maxey had 29 and the short-handed Philadelphia 76ers beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 132-129 on Friday night to end a seven-game losing streak.

Philadelphia is on a 7-game slide. If the season was not already a lost cause, it certainly is on the brink. The Cavaliers come to Philly following a rare loss, 109-108, on Wednesday to Houston. Darius Garland had 26 in the loss.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have been lucky enough to avoid any major injuries this season, which has been one of the reasons for their historic start to the year. However, the Wine and Gold may be running out of luck.
