AUGUSTA COUNTY, Va. (WHSV) - One person has died as a result of a crash that happened along Tinkling Spring Road Thursday afternoon. According to Virginia State Police, a BMW was headed south on Tinkling Spring Road when it crossed the centerline near Christians Creek Road and hit and oncoming Dodge Ram pickup truck.

Portions of Interstate 81 were closed Monday morning in Augusta County following the crash of a tanker truck, authorities said.
