TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Jordan Pope scored 28 points, Dailyn Swain added 18 and a huge block in the waning seconds, and Texas stunned No. 13 Alabama 92-88 on Saturday night for its first Southeastern Conference win of the season.
The Crimson Tide falls to 1-2 in conference play and will have an even steeper climb to win a third regular season title under Nate Oats.
Aiden Sherrell is considered a game-time decision heading into the Texas game, and Labaron Philon is expected to play, per Alabama coach Nate Oats. Oats said Sherrell, who missed the Vanderbilt game after a knee injury he sustained in the Kentucky game, practiced some Friday.
